Kathy Price brings nearly 15 years of experience in the capital markets to her role as Senior Vice President with the Financial Relations Board. Her particular expertise includes strategic counsel, investor relations program management and implementation, and corporate governance. Kathy has worked with companies headquartered in the United States, Israel, Australia, Canada, China, Pakistan, Norway, Sweden and Hungary.
Her experience is varied and spans several industries including technology, telecommunications, business/financial services, biotechnology, healthcare services, medical devices and medical technology. Kathy has shaped the investor relations communications strategy of a diverse client base, including Yahoo!, Bioscrip, INFICON Holdings AG, McGrath RentCorp, Radiologix, Prana Biotechnology, RADVISION, Watson Wyatt & Company, Winner Medical Group and Yak Communications. Over the years, she has counseled and coordinated companies through mergers and acquisitions, shareholder lawsuits and other litigation and proxy contests including companies such as Expedia, Getty Images, VoiceStream Wireless, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Elbit Medical Imaging, Illuminet Holdings and Network Commerce.
Kathy has advised several companies on Initial Public Offerings and Secondary Offerings including Expedia, EDEN Bioscience, N2H2 and Network Commerce.
Kathy began her career on Wall Street as a research associate at T. Rowe Price Associates, working on the small-/mid-cap equity investment team. There, she focused on special situations and growth-at-a-reasonable-price (GARP) stocks. She also brings in-house IR experience, having served as Investor Relations Director at Uniglobe.com.
A native of Baltimore, she graduated from Randolph-Macon College with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics. She also has done post-graduate work at The Johns Hopkins University. Kathy is a member of the National Institute of Investor Relations (NIRI) and the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE).
