Kathy Waller
Co-President
Financial Relations Board

As Co-President, Kathy has been instrumental in building Financial Relations Board into the premiere financial communications firm it is today. She has consulted hundreds of private and public companies on their business plans, growth strategies, valuation, and financing strategies. Kathy heads up the firm's Los Angeles office and co-heads the Chicago office. She oversees client program growth and executive development within both offices.

In addition to her firm-wide administrative and oversight roles, Kathy manages FRB's investor relations practice and plays a leading role in the firm's healthcare practice. She is responsible for new business generation as well as best practices.

Kathy partners with company management teams to help maximize their valuation and enhance their corporate reputation. She leads client teams in addressing their business strategies, competitive differentiators, shareholder mix, and capital structure. Kathy also has extensive experience in developing disclosure policies, crisis communication plans, Board reviews, peer analyses, M&A transactions, investor targeting, and media strategy.

Prior to joining FRB 18 years ago, Kathy worked for five years in the research department at Stein Roe & Farnham, one of Chicago's largest investment counsel firms. While at Stein Roe she worked on the food, beverage and tobacco industries as well as hotels, gaming and leisure companies.

Kathy holds an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business and a B.A. in Management/Marketing with a minor in Accounting from DePaul University in Chicago. She is a member of the University of Chicago CFO Roundtable, Association of Corporate Growth and President of the Mary Elizabeth Waller Foundation.
