Investor Relations Effort Supported 41% Stock Price Increase and the Reassertion of Respironics' Market Leadership Among Target Investors

As a result, within six months, Respironics experienced a 40.5% increase in its stock price, an increase of $1.2 billion in market cap and a reduction in positions by short-term investors by 22%. It also set the stage to reassert its market leadership and gained broader, longer-term support for a higher valuation and acquisition by Phillips Electronics approximately one year later.
